Brendon and Ronnie are excited about the upcoming MLB Trade Deadline and talking through who in the "mushy middle" will buy and who will sell. However, they first have to discuss results from the Grand Sumo Tournament and how professional baseball still exists in Oakland. Along the way, the fellas ponder if a hot dog is a sandwich, talk more about the Rafael Devers trade, and remember California League teams from 20 years ago. Brendon brings up a fun thing he does with the Black-Capped Chickadee, introduces us all to what an uchimuso is, and recalls meeting a very confused Giants fan. Ronnie brings up Coast-to-Coast AM for some reason, mixes up Bob and John Denver, and is apparently very enamored with Manny Ramirez.
